Welcome To Welsh Green Weddings!
There's a magical feeling to this part of West Wales. We fell in love with it eight years ago, you can see why from the photos!.

The Old Dairy on our organic farm was licensed for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies in March 2011. Currently the Old Dairy is licensed for 76 people - this number includes the bride and groom and the two registrars. We do host much larger weddings than this, for up to 120 people, but only 76 people can be present for the legal ceremony in The Old Dairy.

For 2014 we have completed a new Gazebo for outdoor weddings which is licenced for up to 120 people seated on reclaimed pitch pine church benches in the walled garden.

A couple planning a smaller weddings of up to 50 people can opt to have the reception in the Old Dairy as well as the ceremony. This removes the cost of hiring our beautiful giant tipi. If you are planning a larger event the giant tipi can accommodate up to 120 guests for your wedding feast. Our tipi has been made locally to our own specifications, using 50% organic flax.

It won't cost a fortune and it won't cost the earth - we aim to help make your marriage celebrations fabulous and unique without persuading you to spend more than you want to on more than you need. We can also give you the opportunity to plant a Welsh organic fruit tree in our small orchard as a green symbol as part of your celebrations.

Weddings here are based on the bridal party's exclusive use of the farm accommodation. The party usually stays on site from one to four nights, typically over a weekend. Our accommodation includes
Ceridwen, which sleeps up to 19 in bedrooms and 6 more in futons, the Byre bedrooms, sleeping up to 7, 3 handmade yurts, sleeping 2 or 3 people in each, the caban bach (little eco cabin) sleeping 2 adults and up to 2 children, the romantic gypsy wagon and B&B in the farmhouse for 8. We are working on converting a double deckker 1965 london bus conversion for 2015.

On 23rd Jan 2012 we were voted the Best Styled wedding shoot in the blog.

In March 2013 Wedding magazine named us one of the hot 100 UK wedding venues (one of only 7 in Wales.) and South Wales Express voted us 'Welsh Wedding Specialist' of the year 2012.

We've also been featured on for Laura and Nathan's 60s inspired wedding, been on BBC Radio Wales 'Country Matters' and ITV's 'This Morning'

We are fully booked for Tipi weddings for 2014 and 2015 but we still have some spaces left for small weddings not using the Tipi. We have spaces left for 2016 in the Tipi but these are now getting booked. Ask if there are any particular dates you're interested in.

Happy Easter to all couples married here at Penybanc Farm and to all our 2015 and 2016 couples!
